Attention: Clients, contractors and visitors
Rookwood is currently undergoing asset renewal in the form of road works to the primary traffic network through the oldest parts of the cemetery.
From Monday 25 May 2015, there will be some significant changes to traffic flow and traffic directions at Rookwood and particularly for the Victoria Street (East Street) access gate.
The work is being undertaken and co-ordinated by the Rookwood Necropolis Trust (RNT) and we expect the traffic changes will be in place for approximately 6 months.
DETOUR (Alternative Route)
Between Farrar Ave onto Haslem Drive then into Phillips St and Hawthorne Ave.
ROAD CLOSURES (No Public Access)
Necropolis Drive is closed between Hawthorne Ave and Necropolis Circuit.
We understand this may cause some initial confusion and if you have any questions please call us on 8575 8100.
