Organising a funeral can be a very traumatic experience. Not only does the loss of a loved one lead to enormous emotional pressures, but making quick and effective decisions about funeral arrangements can be a huge burden. Most people shop around or gather information before making large purchases. However with a burial or cremation usually taking place within a week of the person having passed away, it helps to have a bit of an understanding about the whole process, before you need it.
In this section you'll find information on:
- the difference between burying and cremating
- how to purchase a grave
- funeral directors and their role
- having a chapel service at the cemetery
The most important thing to know though is who to turn to when you need to plan for a funeral:
