Getting to Rookwood
Rookwood Cemetery is located approximately 30 minutes west of Sydney, NSW. It can be accessed via car, bus or train.
Main Office
The Rookwood General Cemeteries Reserve Trust office is located within the cemetery grounds, at the North end of Hawthorne Ave.
Travelling by Car
The Strathfield Gates can be accessed from Centenary Drive, via Weeroona Rd. The Victoria St Gates can be accessed from Rookwood Road, via East Street or Victoria Street.
Travelling by Bus
Buses travelling to Rookwood (route number 408) depart from Burwood, Strathfield, Homebush and Flemington railway stations.
Travelling by Train
Rookwood’s closest train station is Lidcombe Railway station.
