Monumental Restoration & Conservation

Restoring and conserving heritage monuments, memorials and architecture takes a special set of skills, with this significant work ensuring the longevity of Australia’s stonework.

We have a team of qualified heritage-masons on board, who work with the National Trust and follow strict heritage guidelines to preserve our nation’s monuments in their most natural state. 

Within Rookwood we have implemented a cemetery-wide Monumental Safety and Conservation program. This program has enabled us to improve cemetery safety, whilst also safeguarding Rookwood’s monuments.

Externally to Rookwood, we want to do our part to conserve Australia’s heritage as a whole. For this reason, we work with a number of external organisations and councils to restore heritage monuments within our community.
