Hayden Wallace
Hayden has been a stonemason since 2016. He finished his trade in January 2020 and has been self-employed since January 2021. Hayden’s work consists of rubble walls, fireplaces/chimneys, restoration, ashlar walls, flagging and carving without restrictions to one single aspect of stonemasonry. Hayden has been a part of the repair and restoration of the Bowral Court House. I have restored the Old School House in Burrawang.
About the work
"I have chosen to create a frieze with a return of a Kookaburra and a Waratah on it as my house backs on to a national park in the Southern highlands where I hear kookaburras most days and the Waratah is found on the logo of my council (Wingecarribee)."
